5:30 PM All Saints' Day Holy Eucharist Rt. II & Holy Unction (Healing)
Wednesday, November 01, 2017, 5:30 PM - 6:15 PM
All Saints Day is a Principle Feast of the Church--a day when we traditionally remember those "saints" who provided for us the examples of life in God that we can emulate and celebrate. We also remember on this day those loved ones of ours who have died and are enjoying their eternal rest in the knowledge and love of God.
The Wednesday evening service is a more informal service where people come straight from work or their daily activities. There is a short homily celebrating God's grace.
All are then invited forward to the altar to receive Holy Unction -- the anointing with oil and laying on of hands for healing. The service concludes with Holy Eucharist.
