8 AM - Holy Eucharist, Rite I
Every Sunday, 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM
In this service, we follow the liturgy of the Book of Common Prayer, using the more traditional, Elizabethan language to honor God and express our gratitude. In the prayers and in the responses, the clergy and the people join together to praise God in a formal and elegant way. Our worship is accompanied by organ music at this service, and we sing hymns, but not as many as at the later service in the day. This service does not have a choir, but the clergy and acolytes do wear vestments and walk in procession up the aisle at the beginning and ending of the liturgy. We celebrate the Holy Eucharist (Holy Communion) as part of this service every Sunday.
