The Rev. Jo Craig
Assisting Priest
My husband, the Rev. Dr. Clifton Mann was called as rector, and I became the school chaplain of St. Andrew’s in 2002. We came from St. Stephen’s in Lubbock. The nave was being built at that time and the Parish Hall was getting the finishing touches. We were still worshipping in the School Chapel.
When Clifton died in 2011, I was called to be rector. It was a wonderful gift to me to be able to heal with the congregation. I served as rector until 2016. When the Rev. Jared Houze came during Covid, he invited me to be assisting priest…it has been a great gift to me.
I graduated from The Episcopal Seminary of the Southwest in Austin in 1985 and was ordained deacon and then priest that same year. I have served parishes in Austin, Lubbock, and Amarillo and served Day Schools in both Lubbock and Amarillo.
I married Cliff Craig in 2014 and we are blessed with a hoard of children and grandchildren and even great grandchildren.
I have the privilege of being the Assisting Priest in this wonderful congregation called St. Andrew’s.
