"If it is your ministry..."
These five words gently remind us of the hope and belonging we have in God’s Kingdom.
At St. Andrew’s, you will often hear the phrase, “If it is your ministry.”  We use these words whenever we invite participation in worship, service, or community life. They reflect our belief that all baptized people are called to ministry, and that each person is invited to discern how God is calling them to offer their time, gifts, and talents.

This language honors both freedom and calling. It affirms that not every opportunity is for everyone, while trusting that each person has a ministry through which they can serve and grow. At St. Andrew’s, we understand all that we do to be ministry, and we joyfully support one another in discerning what is—and what is not—our ministry.
